We’re pleased to note that our entire campsite is family friendly, no areas are particularly noisy, all areas have a curfew and hold the same rules.
Please note: if you would like to bring a campervan/caravan/trailer tent/sleep-in vehicle you MUST purchase a permit for the campervan campsite. Visitors without a permit will not be permitted onto the campsite with their vehicle. A caravan/campervan permit will give you access to our motorhome site throughout the weekend. Permits are allocated per vehicle.
We will have a caravan/campervan campsite at CarFest
Caravan Site Permits allow the use of caravans, campervans and trailer-tents. Standard ground-based tents CANNOT be pitched in these campsites for Health and Safety reasons.
When you reach the ticket purchasing page, first select Weekend + Standard Camping ticket, then add a Campervan Permit to your order.*
All caravan and campervan pitches will be 6x9 metres with access to toilets, drinking water, and waste disposal units. All tow vehicles will be directed to park in an adjacent field which will be easy to access.
You must display your permit clearly in the windscreen of your vehicle when accessing the site. This will be sent to you along with the tickets you have purchased.
*Like all tickets, CarFest permits are in high demand so we have limited each transaction to a maximum of 2 permits. Just in case permits are all sold out by the time you get to your ticket purchase stage, we do recommend you discuss in advance whether you would still wish to purchase camping tickets should this be the case. Other options include day tickets and you may wish to consider these. This way, you're nice and prepared and shouldn't lose out on coming to CarFest.

When you purchase your caravan permit you can choose from a permit with or without a power hook up.
Please note – Pitches with power are located in a different section of the campsite to those without power.

Children under the age of 6 (at the time of the festival) can enter the event free of charge, however, you must order a 0-5 year old ticket.
At the time of ordering you will be given the option to make a voluntary donation to UK Children's Charities.
Please note that personal assistants of disabled children under the age of 6 will be required to purchase an adult ticket to enter CarFest. We are not able to provide a free personal assistant ticket where the child is entering on a free ticket.
All disabled visitors entering Retro CarFest on a paid for adult ticket are entitled to bring one Personal Assistant free of charge.

Once emailing our Access team with proof, our access team will add a Personal Assistant ticket toy your order. The tickets will then be posted to you one month before CarFest. If you have any particular questions or requirements please contact access@carfest.org. The Organisers reserve the right to check a person's eligibility under the Equality Act.
The Accessible Campsite at Retro CarFest is available to camping ticket holders who have been accepted to receive a permit (please read the 'how to apply' section below).
There are accessible toilets and accessible showers in the accessible campsite. There is also a dedicated member of staff located in this field, so please approach them if you have any access requirements or questions.
If you have any medication that needs to be kept cool, there is a fridge available in the welfare tent. We recommend you take your medication directly to the welfare tent when you arrive on site. This can be left there across the weekend at your own risk.
Please note that a maximum of 4 people (including yourself and your Personal Assistant) may camp in one pitch.
Due to limited space in the Accessible Campsite field, we need to be strict on how much space each group is allocated. Therefore, space will be allocated based on individual requirements by our Accessibility Campsite Manager.
All groups are asked to abide by this so that we can fit as many people in the campsite as possible.
Once you have booked space within the Accessible Campsite, we will be in contact to find out whether you will be bringing a tent or a caravan / campervan. If you plan to bring a caravan or campervan, you must be a blue disability badge holder and this must be displayed in the vehicle.
