Award-winning science presenter Greg Foot joins the GraviTrax team daily in the STEM Zone to share the unlimited possibilities of the innovative marble run system. Greg is hosting the ‘Build Beyond the Usual Academy’ and is on hand to help you learn about the power of gravity and other forces as you discover how to build your own GraviTrax tracks.

Whether you want to send your marble on a loopthe-loop, up in a lift or even a zipline, the team can’t wait to see your incredible builds!

ComputerXplorers specialise in providing extra-curricular computing clubs at schools and nurseries throughout the area, as well as computing and technology camps at various venues during school holidays.

Their children’s computing classes are always engaging, educational, and lots of fun – perfect for the child who is ‘mad about computers’ or for the child who just wants to try something new.

They will be bringing along some of their best robotics, VR, and gadgets, including their newest arrival, The Sphere Football Mats, where participants can use Sphero Bolt robots to play football against each other.

The Accelerator

Join Mission X and start your training to become an Astronaut.

With a series of challenges designed to prepare you for the toughest of space voyages, Mission X are on hand to help you succeed.

Activities include:

• Base Station Boogie: Your mission: You have just had a great day of exploring the Moon, but it’s time to head back to the base station... Instead of simply walking back, show off your out-of-this-world dance moves! Using your coordination and orientation skills, dance your way all the way back to the base.
• Jump for the Moon: Your mission: Perform jump training with a rope to improve strength and endurance.
• Speed of Light: Your mission: Perform a reaction time activity using a ruler to practice hand-eye coordination and concentration.

Choi Kwang Do (The Art of Grand Master Kwang Jo Choi) is a dynamic, innovative approach to martial arts training that is recognized as one of the fastest growing martial arts in the world.

The CKD system uses natural, easy-to-learn, sequential movements maximize your body’s force-producing capabilities, as well as enhance your physical and mental wellbeing.

The CKD sessions will include an active warm up utilising all different muscles and joints in the body. A description of what we are doing, an explanation and guidance on how to do it correctly. The instructors will then run a basics session teaching you how to block and punch and use shields and focus mitts to hit and block, followed by a self defence talk to demonstrate and teach some basic close range release techniques.

Perfectly Potty are back, offering clay activities to all ages. Hand-build your favourite animal or a scary monster with airdrying clay.

The Peepo Paddock – the relaxing space and sensory activities for babies and toddlers.

Peepo Sensory will be setting up a chilled out and relaxing space for babies and toddlers at this year’s CarFest!

There will be a quiet sensory area which will include space to change and feed your baby and a safe space to let little ones crawl and toddle about without worrying about them getting lost in the crowds. Peepo will also be delivering their acclaimed Baby and Toddler sensory classes set around a CarFest theme. Think bubbles, Makaton, movement and parachutes! A chance for our smallest CarFesters to get involved and join in the festival fun!
