Ben has been a national radio broadcaster for over 25 years, across stations like Absolute Radio, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 5 Live and Heart. He also created the Iggy Pop show for BBC Radio 6Music. But Virgin Radio is and always has been his spiritual radio “home”.

Joining the station in July 2001, Ben hosted across the schedule and from across the world with live broadcasts in Australia and the USA. He’s covered festivals such as Isle of Wight Festival, V Festival and T in the Park.

Interviewing an array of the biggest names in the music business that include AC/DC, The Rolling Stones and multiple in depth conversations with David Bowie.

As a music broadcaster, Ben is genuinely a fan of the music he plays, he knows it inside and out and it shows.

Ben is also the founder of Gimme Sugar Productions that specialises in audio and video music content for clients like Warner Music Group, Universal, and Sony. In 2023 he created and produced the hit Netflix film ‘Hate to Love:Nickelback’.

Ben can be heard daily from 2-6pm on Virgin Radio.

Emma B is a well-known English broadcaster & DJ best known for her extensive radio career across stations like BBC Radio 1, Heart, Magic Radio and now Virgin Radio. She also hosts the 2026 podcast I Can Run A Marathon, documenting her journey to the London Marathon.

She first adopted the moniker "Emma B" while working at Creation Records (alongside bands like Oasis) in the 1990s to avoid confusion with another colleague named Emma. She gained prominence after joining BBC Radio 1 in 1998, where she co-presented the weekend schedules and anchored the award-winning Sunday Surgery with Dr. Mark Hamilton. The critically acclaimed show focused on sensitive health and social issues for young people.

In 2005, she made history as the first solo female to top the drivetime slot in London on Heart 106.2.

A vocal advocate for health awareness, Emma B was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021—having lost her mother to the same disease. She successfully underwent treatment and has shared her recovery journey openly.

She now hosts the mid morning 10am-2pm slot on Virgin Radio Monday - Friday

Steve Denyer can be heard warming up for Chris Evans every morning on Virgin Radio and evens sits in for him when he is away occasionally
