If you thought CarFest was just about cars and live music, think again. FoodFest is one of the festival’s most delicious corners — a dynamic celebration of culinary creativity where flavours, flair and foodie legends collide. From sizzling BBQs to expert cocktail tastings, CarFest 2025 is serving up more than just entertainment, it's plating unforgettable experiences!
At the heart of the action is The Spirits & Cocktails Tipple Tent, where top drinks experts and distillery owners will take you on a flavour-filled journey. Claire and Tim Whalley of Barry Island Spirits Co. swapped corporate careers for cocktails—and never looked back. With multiple awards and a top-rated bar to their name, they’ll be mixing up three signature serves using their Welsh craft gin, rum, and vodka, sharing expert tips and a splash of their signature charm along the way.
Whisky lovers are in for a treat as Greg Dillon, the man behind GreatDrams, hosts an immersive deconstructed whisky tasting. Dive into small-batch drams with fewer than 300 bottles per release, explore flavour profiles, cask types, and learn the stories behind every sip. From connoisseurs to curious first-timers, this is whisky education at its most engaging.
You’ll also step back in time with O’Donnell Moonshine, whose prohibition-era inspired liqueurs come in iconic Mason Jars and flavours like Very Cherry and Peach. Expect a lively, flavour-filled masterclass with just the right amount of rebellion.
Meanwhile, Christopher and Emily Eadie from The Oxton Liqueur Company invite you to an interactive cocktail session with a festive twist. Teaming up with ITV’s Andy Clarke, they'll show you how to craft drinks like a Christmas Espresso Martini, all made with their fruity, award-winning liqueurs and originally dreamed up at the kitchen table in Nottinghamshire.
Joining the line-up are Sarah and Jonathan Nelson, founders of The River Test Distillery in Hampshire. Inspired by the crystal-clear waters and serene beauty of the River Test, their gin is a tribute to craftsmanship and the English countryside. With a mission to bottle the essence of the river itself, they distil in small batches using carefully selected botanicals, resulting in a spirit that’s as crisp, refined and characterful as its source.
Penrhos Spirits rounds off the tasting offering with a relaxed but expertly guided journey through their British gin range. Learn how to garnish, serve and even shake up their signature Strawberry Jam Jar Summer Cocktail — the perfect blend of freshness and festival spirit.
And for anyone choosing to keep things dry without losing the fun, drinks expert Tom Surgey brings his bright charisma and deep industry knowledge to a special Alcohol-Free Session, proving that flavour and flair don’t need a buzz to shine.
But the indulgence doesn’t end there.
As evening descends, The CarFest Supper Club brings star power to the plate at The Cook’s Companion. Hosted by the ever-charming
To elevate the experience even further, CarFest’s official wine partner, Domaine des Jeannqe, will be on hand pouring stunning wines from Provence. Whether it’s a chilled rosé with dinner or a celebratory glass of red, there’s something perfectly paired for every palate.
So, whether you’re shaking cocktails, sipping spirits, soaking up stories or savouring seasonal dishes, FoodFest is where CarFest’s beating heart meets its most delicious soul. Come hungry. Leave inspired.
