Luke Tyburski

X

A career gone. An identity in pieces. The dark cloud of depression sets in.

Luke Tyburski was a professional footballer from Australia when it all fell apart. Not dramatically. Not all at once. Just quietly, slowly - the way it usually does for men. The sport that had defined him since childhood was gone, and with it, the only version of himself he'd ever known. What followed wasn't a neat recovery story. It was years of internal torment, hiding his detrimental thoughts & behaviours from the world, and what he was feeling & dealing with on a daily basis.

Instead of facing what he was going through, Luke decided to try and ‘out run’ his struggles. This journey took him across deserts, up mountains, and completing a world-first 2,000km triathlon from Morocco to Monaco in just 12 days. It was only when his body, mind, and spirit broke down, that his journey back to reality began - through being vulnerable with his truth.

Today, Luke is a global Keynote Speaker and Performance Mindset Coach. ICF accredited, Luke works with Executives, Olympic athletes, British Rowing, start up founders, and senior leadership teams to enhance and evolve how they view, think, and act on a daily basis.

He's also the author of Chasing Extreme, a book about his journey of overcoming obstacles & depression to embrace a life of extreme adventure - and the lessons it has learnt.

Vicki Anstey

X

At six years old, Vicki nearly drowned in a lake in the New Forest. The fear didn’t fade – it embedded. Growing up in rural Yorkshire in the 1980s, she was labelled “difficult,” she learned to adapt, to comply, to edit herself. By adulthood — university, marriage, a successful career in advertising — she had learned how to look capable while quietly overriding her own instincts. Then, aged 40, she came to understand that fear is not simply something we remember, but which we carry. It shapes how we assess risk, how much space we allow ourselves to take up, and how willing we are to step beyond what feels safe. She left a controlling marriage, her job and set about becoming her authentic self. What followed looks from the outside like a sequence of extreme achievements: SAS: Who Dares Wins – one of the first women to participate, in 2018.

A world-record mid-Pacific Ocean row in 2021 unaided, An Arctic ultramarathon – 250kms across the Arctic in -35 degrees, An African ultramarathon – 250kms across the Savannahs of Kenya in temperatures over 50 degrees, The Race Across America – 3,000 miles as a team of four women ‘the world’s toughest bike race’.

In December 2026, 3000 miles stand between Vicki Anstey and Sophie Bostock as they row the Atlantic Ocean. From La Gomera in the Canary Islands to the tropical Caribbean paradise of Antigua, the duo has their sights set on not only completing the Transatlantic row but going one step further and attempting to set a new WORLD RECORD for the fastest ever female duo to finish the ocean row
