This year we’re delighted to be partnering with local Kent based winemakers Silverhand Estate, who will be providing our Premium Lounge guests with a complimentary glass of their very special sparkling wine from England, Silver Reign.
Located in Luddesdown, Kent – Silverhand takes its name from King Ludd – a first century King of the Trinovantes, founder of London and God of Protection and Prosperity.
Losing his hand in battle, he was stripped of his rank and position until a silver hand was made for him… More recently the company has established the largest single vineyard in the UK, spanning the beautiful countryside in the heart of Kent.
Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Kent countryside, Silverhand Estate is a hidden gem that offers a unique blend of natural beauty and rich heritage. It is defining the new rules of English sparkling wine, having established the largest single organic vineyard in the UK, covering an area of more than 500 acres.
