We will be operating and enforcing a strict Challenge 25 policy at CarFest. If you can’t provide valid identification when asked, you will be asked to leave the site and come back with your ID. So if you are lucky enough to look 25 or younger, please make sure that you bring an acceptable form of identification.
All tickets can only be purchased by an adult 18 or over.
By purchasing a child ticket (0-5 or 6-16) you are confirming that you are either the parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian of the teen or child for whom you are purchasing.
Many young children have enjoyed CarFest - some of them enjoying live music for the first time on the shoulders of their parents, which is a great sight to behold. However, there are some precautions you may wish to take to ensure that it is an enjoyable experience for you all.
The Track Show may feature Formula 1 and other cars which are very loud. If you would like to watch these from close quarters, we would recommend bringing and using ear protection on children for their own comfort. Likewise, it is not recommended that young children get too close to the sound systems for the Main Stage.
It is also worth noting that the music on each evening will go on until 10pm or 11pm. We rely on your judgement to determine whether your child will find this enjoyable or not.
We reserve the right of entry to the festival.
CarFest is all about connecting people and celebrating the diversity of our world. We want to make sure that everyone feels welcome, respected and safe no matter their race, gender, sexuality, age, ability, religion, or anything else.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination or harassment. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be ejected without refund.
Unacceptable behaviour that can lead to eviction includes, but is not limited to:
A CCTV system is in operation at this Event, for the purposes of Public Safety and Prevention of Crime.
Bag Searches take place at all points of entry into the festival and any prohibited items will be confiscated.
The ticket holder is responsible for their tickets until it is exchanged for a wristband and then responsible for their wristband for the duration of the event.
Tickets must be exchanged for a wristband on first entry at a wristband exchange. Wristbands are strictly non-transferable and will be invalid if removed, tampered with, transferred or resold. Wristbands must be worn at all times for the duration of the Event.
Car parking is available to all festival ticket holders and Car Parking passes must be purchased before attending the event.
A car parking pass is required to park your car in the relevant car park. Please purchase a Weekend Car Parking Pass (or Big Early) or a Day Car Parking Pass for each car you’ll be bringing.
Please note, a car parking pass is not required for those staying with one of our glamping providers Hotel Bell Tent, Perfectly Pitched or Tangerine Fields.
A car parking pass is not required for blue badge holders.
A car parking pass is not required for the car towing a caravan in our CCV field (included in the CCV Permit). If you/members of your party are bringing additional cars in the CCV campsite, you’ll need to purchase a CCV car parking pass for those.
Car Parks are located within the festival site and are professionally managed. There is also 24-hour security on-site, which includes regular patrols of the parking areas. All types of vehicles are permitted in the car parks, including motorbikes and live-in vehicles, although it is not permitted to sleep in live-in vehicles in the parking areas.
Please note that there is NO vehicular access within the main CarFest campsite; cars must be parked in the campsite car park and all items carried in. Only the Caravan/Campervan and Accessible campsites can be driven into. All cars/tow vehicles in Caravan/Campervan sites can be unhitched and parked in designated parking areas. They cannot be left within the allocated pitch.
Please note that all vehicles are left at the owners own risk and CarFest can accept no liability for any damage or loss caused during entry/exit or use of the car parks.
There are no Electric Car Charging facilities at our 2025 event.
There are no specific cycle-parking facilities, although there will be fencing to which you may secure your bike. We are unable to take responsibility for bicycles secured in this way. Please note, bicycles are not permitted on the festival ground.
A caravan/campervan permit gives your live-in vehicle access to our Caravan campsite. Permits are allocated per vehicle.
Caravan Site Permits allow the use of caravans, campervans, motorhomes, roof-tents and trailer-tents. You will have a 9x6m pitch allocated. Vehicles that don’t fit within the 9x6m pitch will be refused entry, even if you have purchased 2 permits.
Standard ground-based tents CANNOT be pitched in these campsites for Health and Safety reasons.
Additional cars cannot be parked next to your live-in vehicle. A separate car parking pass is available to purchase for additional cars.
When you reach the ticket purchasing page, first select CCV Camping ticket or CCV Camping + Big Early for each member of your party attending (or the Premium version of each of these ticket types), then add a Campervan Permit to your order.*
All caravan and campervan pitches are 9x6 metres with access to power, showers, toilets, drinking water, and waste disposal units. All tow vehicles will be directed to park in an adjacent field which will be easy to access. Pitches are attributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
You must display your permit clearly in the windscreen of your vehicle when accessing the site. This will be sent to you along with the tickets you have purchased.
*Like all tickets, CarFest permits are in high demand, so we have limited each transaction to a maximum of 2 permits.
**Subject to permit availability.
We allow picnics, soft drinks, blankets and folding chairs to be brought in and set up beyond the marked out ‘standing only’ area of the music arena. Please note, our policy is one chair per person and these chairs must be foldable. We do not allow gazebos, lay sacs, windbreakers or tents.
Structures like these block the view of the stage for other CarFesters, so please be considerate of others when setting up your area for the evening and don’t take up too much space! Do not leave your belongings in the main arena overnight as they will be removed.
Do not leave any items unattended. Please ensure your bags and trolleys are clearly labelled with your name and contact details. If we find unattended items, we may remove them for security purposes. This includes items left in the main music arena overnight.
We’re sorry if any of your personal property is lost or damaged whilst at CarFest. Neither the organisers, venue owner or Charity Partners can be held responsible. We strongly recommend never leaving any valuables unattended in your caravan or tent.
If you have found someone else’s property or have lost some of your property, please contact info@carfest.org
Due to safety and hygiene reasons dogs/pets are not allowed on site. Only Assistance Dogs are allowed at CarFest. No assistance dog will be allowed on site if not previously approved by our accessibility team and without the relevant ticket. Visit Accessibility to learn more.
Smoking is not allowed in any of the marquees or structures. Smoking will also not be allowed around any cars. Visitors who wish to smoke are asked to respect others by refraining from smoking in busy areas, around children or around food. Disposable vapes are forbidden.
Per person: 12 cans of beer / lager / cider OR 75cl of spirits (in a plastic container) OR a 2.25 litre box of unopened wine for the weekend (campers only).
Drones are not permitted at the festival or campsites. It is a criminal offence to fly drones over populated areas such as festivals. To commit such an offence is punishable and can lead to a 5-year prison sentence and/or unlimited fine. Any drones and the pilots thereof, found flying will have equipment confiscated and authorities will be informed to take further action. Your cooperation and support with this is appreciated. We reserve the right to refuse admission or to evict any person from CarFest for drunkenness, unruly behaviour or for breaking any of these conditions.
The CarFest Official media team and a number of independent production companies will be taking photographs and filming this event. By entering the event you consent to your image being used in any future CarFest and CarFest promotion. If you do not wish your image to be used, please email info@carfest.org.
Motorsport can be dangerous. Despite the organisers taking all reasonable precautions unavoidable accidents can happen. In respect of these you are present at your own risk.
CarFest is held on agricultural land. The organisers and the venue owner would like to remind you that the paths and grounds within the event and camping areas may be uneven. Whilst every reasonable effort has been taken to ensure your safety at all times, visitors are requested to take care, especially after dark or in muddy or wet conditions. Neither the organisers nor venue owner can accept responsibility for injury as a result of ground conditions however sustained whilst on these premises.
We reserve the right to make changes to the line-up without notification. This includes music line-up, speakers, activities and vendors.
We remind all performers to remember there are children present and to use appropriate language, however, we cannot ensure they will follow this advice. Some of our comedians and music acts’ material may not be suitable for younger audiences (and some adults).
Strobe lighting, pyrotechnics and lasers may be used at the festival.
