The best CarFest weekends don't start on Friday. They start on Thursday. The Big Early is back, and this year, we've put together a lineup of live entertainment, family activities, food, drink and plenty of festival atmosphere to make your extra night one to remember.

Arrive early, pitch up at your own pace and settle in before the crowds arrive. No rushing, no fuss, just you, your tent and a full evening of exclusive entertainment waiting for you in the campsite.

What's on at The Big Early

West End Kids: Lights Up
The West End comes to the CarFest campsite. With over 25 years of experience, West End Kids bring show-stopping live performances, dazzling choreography and interactive workshops where young festival-goers can learn real musical theatre skills and experience the thrill of performing like a West End star.

Silly Science Show & Workshops
Meet Silly Stasia and Bonkers Bertie, and buckle up. This high-energy family show is packed with explosive experiments, ridiculous surprises and their legendary homemade VORTEX CANNON. Stick around for the hands-on workshops, where budding scientists can mix, stretch and spark their way through the science behind slime, and take their creation home.

Always Be Prepared: The Gang Show
One of Scouting's most beloved traditions arrives at The Big Early. These energetic, feel-good productions have been showcasing young talent for generations, and this year they're bringing music, drama and dance to the CarFest stage in a brilliant celebration of teamwork, creativity and confidence.

Bloco Fogo: Carnival Comes to CarFest
There's no easing into this one. Bloco Fogo arrive with thunderous Brazilian carnival drumming, vibrant costumes and a level of energy that makes standing still feel genuinely impossible. Expect lively parades weaving through the campsite and plenty of opportunities to jump in and join the fun.

Silent Disco: Headphones On, World Off
As the sun goes down on The Big Early, grab a pair of glowing headphones, pick your channel and dance the night away under the stars. Family favourites, feel-good bangers and the kind of shared silliness that makes for the best festival memories. The unmissable finale to your first night at CarFest.

Your Festival Local: The Petrol Head
Every great festival needs a great pub, and The Petrol Head is rolling into the CarFest campsite to be exactly that. Four draught beers, Guinness on tap, four guest ales and a full lineup of wines, spirits and soft drinks. Plus table tennis in the pub garden and a daytime pub quiz, because it turns out CarFesters are just as competitive off the track as on it.
