The Kids Canopy
Welcome to The Kids Canopy at SpaFest, a calming, colourful corner of CarFest designed especially for little minds and growing bodies.
Here, wellness becomes play. The Kids Canopy is all about introducing children to the joy of slowing down, tuning in and feeling good, in ways that are fun, accessible and full of imagination. From gentle movement sessions and playful Pilates to mindful crafts, and sensory experiences, every activity is designed to help kids explore wellbeing in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
Whether they’re stretching like a superhero, creating something beautiful with their hands, or exploring the natural world around them, The Kids Canopy offers a welcome pause from the buzz of the festival. Led by friendly, experienced practitioners, sessions are inclusive, engaging and suitable for a range of ages, with no experience needed, just a willingness to give it a go. So while the grown-ups recharge at SpaFest, kids can discover their own version of wellness – one breath, stretch and smile at a time.

Briony May Williams
After years of baking at home and cultivating her creativity and skill, Briony first came to the public’s attention as she launched onto our screens during nine stressful weeks in the tent on the 2018 series of The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4.
Progressing through the competition to the semi-final, Briony’s humour and warmth, coupled with her resilience and ingenuity saw her become a firm favourite with the audience.
Explore The Natural World with The Forest School

Step into the natural world with The Forest School. Designed to spark curiosity and confidence, these sessions invite children to explore, create and learn through nature-based play. From den building and natural crafts to sensory exploration and teamwork challenges, every activity encourages independence, resilience, and imagination. Led by Claire Pickman, it’s a chance for kids to connect with the outdoors in a safe, supportive environment. Get a little muddy, a lot creative, and fully immersed in the magic of nature.
Susie Sloth’s Playful Pilates

A gentle, giggle-filled introduction to movement for little ones. Designed especially for kids, these sessions combine simple Pilates-inspired exercises with storytelling, imagination and fun. Expect stretching, balancing and wiggling in ways that help build strength, coordination and body awareness, all at a relaxed, sloth-like pace. There’s no pressure to get it perfect, just plenty of encouragement to move, breathe, and enjoy the moment. Led by the wonderfully calming Charlotte Marsh, it’s the perfect way for children to recharge, reset and discover that moving slowly can be just as fun.
