What is your festival policy?

You can read our festival policy here.

Is the event suitable for young children?

Many young children have enjoyed CarFest - some of them enjoying live music for the first time on the shoulders of their parents, which is a great sight to behold. However, there are some precautions you may wish to take to ensure that it is an enjoyable experience for you all.

The Track Show may feature Formula 1 and other cars which are very loud. If you would like to watch these from close quarters, we would recommend bringing and using ear protection on children for their own comfort. Likewise, it is not recommended that young children get too close to the sound systems for the Main Stage.

It is also worth noting that the music on each evening will go on until 10pm or 11pm. We rely on your judgement to determine whether your child will find this enjoyable or not.

Can I park at CarFest?

Car parking is available to all festival ticket holders and Car Parking passes must be purchased before attending the event

A car parking pass is required to park your car in the relevant car park. Please purchase a Weekend Car Parking Pass (or Big Early) or a Day Car Parking Pass for each car you’ll be bringing.

A car parking pass is not required for blue badge holders.

A car parking pass is not required for the car towing a caravan in our Caravan (Live In Vehicle) field (included in the Caravan (Live In Vehicle) permit). If you/members of your party are bringing additional cars in the Caravan (Live In Vehicle) campsite, you’ll need to purchase a Caravan (Live In Vehicle) car parking pass for those.

Car Parks are located within the festival site and are professionally managed. There is also 24-hour security on-site, which includes regular patrols of the parking areas. All types of vehicles are permitted in the car parks, including motorbikes and live-in vehicles, although it is not permitted to sleep in live-in vehicles in the parking areas.

Please note that there is NO vehicular access within the main CarFest campsite; cars must be parked in the campsite car park and all items carried in. Only the Caravan/Campervan and Accessible campsites can be driven into. All cars/tow vehicles in Caravan/Campervan sites can be unhitched and parked in designated parking areas. They cannot be left within the allocated pitch.

Please note that all vehicles are left at the owners own risk and Car Fest can accept no liability for any damage or loss caused during entry / exit or use of the car parks.

Electric Car Charging is not yet confirmed for our 2026 event.

There are no specific cycle-parking facilities, although there will be fencing to which you may secure your bike. We are unable to take responsibility for bicycles secured in this way. Please note, bicycles are not permitted on the festival ground.

Can I bring my live-in vehicle?

Yes **. A caravan/campervan permit gives your live-in vehicle access to our Caravan campsite. Permits are allocated per vehicle.

Caravan Site Permits allow the use of caravans, campervans, motorhomes, roof-tents and trailer-tents. You will have a 9x6m pitch allocated. Vehicles that don’t fit within the 9x6m pitch will be refused entry, even if you have purchased 2 permits.

Standard ground-based tents CANNOT be pitched in these campsites for Health and Safety reasons.

Additional cars cannot be parked next to your live-in vehicle. A separate car parking pass is available to purchase for additional cars.

All caravan and campervan pitches are 9x6 meters with access to power, showers, toilets, drinking water, and waste disposal units. All tow vehicles will be directed to park in an adjacent field which will be easy to access. Pitches are attributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

You must display your permit clearly in the windscreen of your vehicle when accessing the site. This will be sent to you along with the tickets you have purchased.

**Subject to permit availability.

Why is CarFest moving to Silverstone?

CarFest has been lucky to call Laverstoke Park Farm home for over a decade. We’ve reached a stage where the festival needs more space, improved facilities and better transport links to continue growing. Silverstone offers all of this – along with the opportunity to welcome more visitors, expand our programme and raise more money for our partner charities.

What will change for festival-goers?

The heart of CarFest – cars, music, family fun and fundraising – stays exactly the same. What Silverstone gives us is more space, better facilities, easier travel for fans from across the country, and room to introduce new attractions and experiences.
