Celebrate the Joy of Driving with Mazda at StarFest

Japanese car maker Mazda will be joining us at CarFest this year, to not only celebrate 35 years of the worlds bestselling 2 seat sportscar that is the epitome of Japanese engineering, but also giving CarFest visitors the opportunity to learn more about the very special craftsmanship and Japanese sensibilities that gives Mazda cars their very unique personality.

Craftsmanship in Japan means more than the ability to make something. It stands for the pursuit of perfection – not in machine-like sense, but with the human touch at its centre. When master craftsmen, called “Takumi” in Japan, dedicate their lives to the creation of an object, they put a piece of their soul into it and thus bring it to life. In Japan, this approach is known as “Monotsukuri”. And this has been the guiding principle for Mazda from the beginning: Mazda’s Takumi do not make cars, they craft them.

As partners of the StarFest Stage and Club CarFest, Mazda will be showcasing their range of SUV’s, including the all-electric Mazda MX-30, giving visitors a chance to find out more about Mazda's unique intelligent SKYACTIV Technology.

And to mark 35 years of the Mazda MX-5 be sure to keep an eye on the Kwikfit-Michelin Track as we pay homage to some of the greatest cars to come out of Japan!
