Space To Talk was created during the COVID-19 pandemic. Struggling with isolation, a small informal group started meeting to walk around a local park.
The opportunity to talk to others during group walks became a literal lifeline for those experiencing extreme loneliness and loss of vital support structures.
What seemed simple, a walk and talk, clearly provided a therapeutic benefit, pandemic restrictions or not. They decided to formalise as a social enterprise and began their journey to understand the mechanism of support being offered and how this can be extended to more locations.

Kate Rowe-Ham is a Women's Health Coach with a special interest in menopause fitness and nutrition. The Author of the bestselling book Owning Your Menopause: Fitter , Calmer, Stronger in 30 Days and founder of the Owning Your Menopause app.
Kate is passionate about educating women on how to exercise and nourish their bodies at this time. She wants to educate women on the benefits of movement and diet so they can see how these play a fundamental role in managing many of the symptoms associated with menopause.
Qualifying as a level 3 Personal Trainer later in life, raising her three children and experiencing her own issues with perimenopause has given Kate a unique insight into how isolating this journey can be. In midlife, a woman’s needs fall by the wayside as we often juggle many balls. Kate knows first-hand that the debilitating effects of menopause can leave women feeling overwhelmed, invisible, and anxious, and she is on a mission to empower, support and educate in order to give women the opportunity to see this can be a time to thrive.
As a trusted expert in her field, Kate has become the ‘go-to’ Personal Trainer known for her specialised approach to ensuring women get the correct evidence-based information on how to train effectively and nourish their bodies through menopause. She believes that so many women miss out on optimising their midlife and menopause experience due to not understanding how to adapt their lifestyle during this phase.
Kate is encouraging women to reframe their mindset from always seeing movement as a punishment and aiming for the aesthetic benefits to educating women to appreciate the benefits exercise has on their heart, bones, joints, muscles, brain, and mental health.
Recognising that there has been a lack of support and education for women in this demographic led Kate to spearhead the creation of the Owning Your Menopause App. This offering provides a platform that reshapes what training means to women going through menopause. Through in-depth research, self-testing, coaching, and refinement, Kate is providing women with the much-needed information and support she would love every woman to know that they have the potential to be strong in mind and body regardless of their starting point and that with the proper support, they can embrace menopause and midlife. Kate aims to help women find a healthier lifestyle, giving them the tools, they need to adopt a sustainable approach to exercise.

Jade Gooding has been a part of the fitness world since 2006. In 2010, however, she suffered an accident that resulted in severe damage to both of her ACLs, requiring reconstructive surgery and four rounds of keyhole surgery. During her recovery, she used Pilates as a form of rehabilitation and ultimately went on to earn her Pilates certification in 2011. This experience taught her that our bodies have the power to heal and rebuild, no matter what the challenge.
Juliet started her journey in the fitness industry over 20 years ago, initially as a Personal Trainer and instructor specializing in spin, circuits, and HIIT. As an avid runner, she discovered Pilates as a way to improve her flexibility. Five years into her Pilates journey, Juliet made the decision to wholeheartedly dedicate herself to the discipline. For the past 15 years, she has been fully immersed in the world of Pilates, delving into extensive studies, conducting research, and obtaining qualifications to deepen her understanding.
In addition to managing her own fitness business, Juliet served as a teacher trainer and examiner for six years at Future Fit Training Ltd. She also assumed the role of fitness manager at "Juice Master" Jason Vale's juice retreats in Portugal and Turkey during this period.
Juliet's current focus is on women's health, advocating fiercely for individuals to realise their full potential, irrespective of age. Her belief is grounded in the idea that one's abilities should not be constrained by age-related stereotypes. Juliet encourages her clients to perform everyday tasks effortlessly, whether it be lifting luggage, fastening a bra or shoelaces, rising from a seated position, or sitting on the floor. While her primary expertise lies in pure Pilates, she incorporates a diverse range of exercises such as weightlifting, HIIT, and circuits to cater to various fitness goals, including running, cycling, striking, golf swings, tennis serves, improved sleep, and stress management. Above all, laughter and enjoyment characterise every class Juliet leads, making the pursuit of fitness an uplifting and enjoyable journey for all participants.

Andrew, a finalist on the BBC reality TV show "The Traitors," faced a life-changing car accident at 21 in 1999, where he was initially pronounced dead and spent four weeks in a coma. Despite being told he would never walk again, Andrew defied the odds and regained his ability to walk, although his dream of playing rugby for Wales was shattered. His physical recovery was accompanied by a long battle with mental health, which he only recently began to openly discuss.
Now in a better place, Andrew has channeled his experiences into motivational speaking, aiming to break the stigma around mental health. He left his job as a Commercial Insurance Broker to start his own company, "Strength In You Ltd," where he offers motivational talks, workshops, and coaching. Andrew’s story is one of resilience, determination, and hope, and he has big plans to inspire others in 2024.
Andy is a former professional athlete, who following an injury which cut short his career, went on to co-create two multimillion-dollar city brokerages. But after achieving traditional “success” Andy was left feeling broken. He was unfit, unhealthy, overweight, stressed and unhappy.
Andy believed there had to be another way to be successful while staying super fit, healthy, maintaining a happy home life and doing it with a smile on his face. So, 10 years ago Andy went on an adventure to study the art of behavioural change and elite performance.
The techniques Andy uncovered transformed his mind, body, business and most importantly his relationships. Inspired, Andy firstly co-founded a world-leading behavioural change platform (OYNB) OneYearNoBeer.com which is a 28,90 or 365-day alcohol-free challenge, inspiring over 100,000 people to transform their relationship with alcohol.
For over a decade Andy has been at the forefront of the alcohol-free movement inspiring hundreds of thousands of people to take a break from alcohol and unleash optimal performance.
Andy is the co-founder of the Dryy app, trains life/exe/alcohol-free coaches and has a documentary about the alcohol-free movement coming out in 2025.

Some of the benefits of having a sound bath:
When we remember that on average, we are 60% water and that everything we experience is a vibration, we need to be mindful of what vibrations we allow ourselves to experience. This can be the sounds we hear, the words we speak and the atmospheres we are in.
The sounds we are experiencing daily attribute to our optimal health and well being. Sound baths shift the stubborn and negative energies we come into contact with and hold on to, allowing the body to detox.
Contraindications to a sound bath: pregnancy (please speak to us for further information), people with pacemakers, stents or shunts, sufferers of epilepsy or severe mental health issues. These are just a few of the contra indications, please speak to us if you have any concerns.
