CarFest 2022 sees the expansion of one of the most popular features of CarFest, to now include The StarFest Stage, The Author’s Stage hosted by Costa Coffee, The Costa Reading Room, the Bookstore with Waterstones and a fabulous dance and theatre area!

The StarFest Stage this year will host panel sessions with five sessions a day, ranging from your favourite soap stars, jungle heroes, reality TV stars to icons from the worlds of sport, comedy and everything in between!
Adding to the spirt of culture and celebrating the written word, are the new Author’s Stage hosted by Costa Coffee, where you can hear and meet writers of both fiction and non-fiction as well as get the lowdown on how to write and get published! Sitting alongside the Author’s Stage is the Costa Reading Room, for more intimate and quiet readings, meets with inspiring illustrators and a chance for you and the kids to chill, grab a coffee and take a moment to enjoy the written word. And no literary celebration would be complete without being able to buy and get your books signed by all these legends! So we’ve teamed up with Waterstone’s to make your journey complete… be inspired in our talks, be moved by the intimate readings and then buy a book and get it signed…All at StarFest!
And if that wasn’t enough, and you’re itching to tread the boards and take part in some real life performances, then make your way to The Performing Heart, where you can watch a host of fabulous dance, music and theatre acts plus take phave a go yourself in one of our acting and dance workshops!
