Hailing from Henley-on-Thames, 16-year-old Charlie Ward is stepping into the spotlight after finishing his GCSEs. Playing guitar since the age of 7, Charlie blends a love for artists like Sam Fender, 21 Pilots, Paolo Nutini and Hozier into his own unique sound. With an eclectic taste and raw passion, Charlie not only performs powerful covers but is also writing his own original material.
The Stormchasers started out life in 2021. Jake (guitar) and Dhani (keys) started off as a duo at the back end of lockdown. They then decided to expand to a four piece with Bertie (drums) and Alfie (bass) a year later. Working and playing together very much as a ‘group’, they all sing lead and carefully choose what songs to play. They mainly love high energy rock and pop tunes with big, fat choruses. They’ve even started writing their own material, which they are planning to integrate into their set. They have played a local festival four years in a row, plus a headline slot at a local talent night and the most recent Henley Youth Festival.
