Unleash your inner Viking with our Axe Throwing area, and try out the Olympic sport of Archery at CarFest this summer. The traditional and fun activity of Archery can be enjoyed by anyone aged eight to eighty years old! Everyone loves a bit of friendly competition amongst your family and friends- can you hit the bullseye?
Our Bushcraft and Forest School Family Workshop Area, run by Mountain Monkeys limited, offers kids and parents the opportunity to sit down by a fire and take part in learning survival skills! Activities include fire lighting using a flint and steel, toasting marshmallows, using a knife, axe and saw. In addition, you can enjoy relaxing under the beautiful Bell Tent and get stuck in with iconic family games such as Giant Jenga, Domions, Corn Bag Throwing and others. It’s the perfect place to enjoy some quality family time!
We’re delighted to welcome Young Driver to CarFest this year as our Under 17s driving partner. Their team of specially trained driving instructors will be providing taster lessons for 10 to 17s throughout the entire event.
8 Vauxhall Corsa SE Premiums will be running between noon and 6:30pm on Friday and 10am to 6:45pm Saturday and Sunday.

Young Driver specialises in teaching 10-17 year-olds how to drive. The scheme has delivered more than 900,000 driving lessons at 70 private venues across the UK. The emphasis is on safety and fun, allowing youngsters more time to perfect driving skills such as gear changes, braking, parking and steering without the pressures of public roads. The Showground arena will be home to some spectacular entertainment throughout the weekend of CarFest South. Packed with fun, we are bringing back your favourite Arena displays and shows, which will play host to competitive show jumping and exciting horseriding demonstrations at CarFest South.
Come and get involved in some exciting 20-minute football skill masterclasses with coaches from Southampton FC. If you are aged 5-13, stop by, have fun and develop your football skills, as well as finding out more about the Football Club’s activities around the country.
There will also be dedicated sessions for individuals with disabilities and for the over 60s aspiring footballers! So come and cheer on the participants and hone your football skills.

Our friends at BugFest have been to CarFest every year and are back for their 10thCarFest!
Why not swing by BugFest this summer to get up and close (not too close) with some interesting creepy crawlies! The amazing BugFest team give you and your family the unique opportunity to handle spiders, critters, scorpions and stick insects of all shapes of sizes! Come away with amazing memories and fun facts, curtesy of Nick and The Wild and Deadly show team!
Join King Ramps at CarFest South to enjoy a skateboarding spectacle! King Ramps will be running pro shows on their mobile skate ramp, featuring some of the UK’s top professionals including BMX legend Jack Clarke and Vans professional Daryl Dominguez. In between the shows they’ll also be running skateboarding workshops! Swing by at some point over the weekend to get a one-to-one lesson from some of the country’s top pros.
Come along to the World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle at CarFest South! Enjoy a 10 minute session jumping on the epic 23.8 metres long and 20.7 metres wide bouncy castle – its side turrets are equal in height to the walls of Cardiff Castle and its taller than the Great Wall of China! Filled with 1143 cubic metres of air it can comfortably accommodate 100 pleasure-seeking festival goers at one time.
